    Post Edit Issues

Just wanted to make you aware that I have had issues editing posts over the last several months. Specifically, The edit functions begin to load, but the dialog does not show up in the edit window and the additional edit buttons/functions do not appear on the screen. I am using Chrome Version 36.0.1985.125 m. Out of curiosity, I tried another computer with IE and the edit options were all present. May be a compatibility issue with Chrome. Any suggestions welcome. Thanks!

For the sake of argument did you clear your cookies and cache?

this sounds exactly like what was driving some of us at FiN crazy(er) , since it appeared intermittently

the tech staff there finally discovered that it had to do with the extended character set confusing the software
    (even including quotation marks)

we've been problem-free for some time now

Both computers are set to clean cookies and cache each day.
