This has been something I've noticed for months upon months, now, and a bored night has spurred me to mention it.
Previously, one was able to 'close' sections of the forum they didn't read. It was an arrow button, on the right hand corner of the specific forum title bar. It would allow you to 'close', or minimize rather, the forums you had no interest in.
Examples would be the 'art section', or 'complaint line, employees/customers inside/outside, vendor sponsor area'.
One had the option of minimizing those sections. It lasted into the new forum update of awhile ago, but, at least to my knowledge, went away sometime in the past 4-ish months?
I suppose the vendors didn't like that users had an option of just closing their section of the forum, therefore by-passing it entirely, every single time they logged in...
I'm sure those sections are active, and full of great conversation and debate. But, just always puzzling how the option to minimize them out of view, just went away one day?
EDIT: For example, the 'Sponsor Zone', 'Employee/Customer Discussion' and 'Showroom', forums, I would have closed. Nothing against them, or the people who post in them. But it helped streamline the forums, into just what I wanted to read.
