Endurance, by Lordstown: The Electric Pickup Thatís Not for Everyone

Rivian wants to dazzle you with excessive range and dirt-flinging tank turns. Ford wants you to feel virtuous while behind the wheel of an F-150. General Motors wants to crush things beneath the wheels of the monstrous GMC Hummer EV. Lordstown Motorsís electric pickup, on the other hand, doesnít want to be everyoneís best friend. […]

The sides and back look fine, but that front end is sad. the striping on the sides gives me a 70's vibe.

The front doesn't have a massive grill like ICE pickups. Because that looks retarded on a BEV.

EPA range is in ideal weather. For the foreseeable future there is no such thing as unnecessary range.

For fleet use ~230-240 miles is fine. Because fleets almost never ask employees to drive a round trip more than 200 miles in a single day.

ICEv get between 350 and 700 miles of range. It will be a while before most BEVs for sale do that in the real world.

No, it doesn't need a grill, but does that mean the front end has to look bad?

The front end is awful and the side profile stripes and all make me think of something out of the 80's
