Yokohama Geolander AT/S tires are excellent, I highly recommend them. I previously had a set of their mud terrains on my old S10, great tires as well.

Thanks bro. I'm pretty set on those dura tracks, alot of other forums are saying their bad ass, and cheaper then alot of other comparable tires. Now what size? 285, 295?

I just bought BFG Longtrail Tour for my truck. I was out driving in the DC Blizzards this week and they were awesome! I drove through unplowed streets with a foot of snow on them and never had a problem.

Hell yeah, I live in maryland and we just got 3 feet. My stockers did fine but I just found 285/70 r17's for 700 a set. And they look bad ass!

I have a set of Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armors and I couldn't be happier with them. Even at 80mph they're almost silent. Traction is much better than the HPs that came on it from the factory.

I had Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revos on my Silverado and absolutely loved them. Couldn't find anything out there to get them to spin!! Good luck with your new set!

...just because a tire "looks bad ass" doesnt mean its "bad ass"...no offense, but half the trucks I see with "bad ass looking tires" on are driven by guys who are 5ft short, and haul nothing but them or their family around in a 50k truck.

My personal recommendation: Firestone Transforce AT. Handles alot ranging from snow to mud, and wears excellently.

One other recommendation (previously mentioned): Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armor (pro grade). The same applies as the Transforce.

I assume that your silverado is all stock? A 285-295 will probably take some cutting and/or lifting to fit them properly. Besids, vehicles are designed to run on a specific tire size for a reason.

Dude I've already, had my new stock truck burried to the doors in mud and water, as well as had a whole pallet of concrete in the back of it! And stock tires are for girls. I was just trying to get an opinion on a tire so new, that tire shops don't know much about. But don't sweat it I got all the info I needed off a jeep forum. PS they say these tire are bad ass on and off road.

Michelin cross terrains. I have a new set on the explorer and its hard trying to get it to spin in the snow, unless you know how to do it lol, last set lasted 100K miles and are still going (gave them to a friend). I highly reccomend them.

Keep us posted on your purchase. I've had real bad luck with Goodyear tire along with some good luck over the years. I buy Michelin tires now, no complaints so far.
