but I will ADD the GMC does OFFER a LOT for 10K over the RAM
multi-pro tasil gate + HUD + camera mirror and is fully loaded where the REBEL is a MID TRIM truck
Value or not, the point is, take $10K off the GMC MSRP (and additional content that affords) and who wins?

    AT4 Crew starts at $53,200.
The truck in your avatar.. Your truck I guess.. The one U paid money for.. The Sierra.. It won. Yup! Great choice

But they seem to use that more fore sporty applications... Just curious why.
As far as Silverado / Sierra goes..... it's mostly about ( in serious, 'practical terms' ) 'their' choice of Rear Leaf Springs versus Ram's use of Coil Springs.

Air Suspension and Leaf Springs are both opposite ends of a spectrum .... kinda' like water and oil; and yep, don't really play well together....... especially if there is serious load and towing involved. Even if you get them playing 'well' 'together' ..... you do not end up with much of a practical result.

    --

Remember..... Leaf Springs always perform some kind of Rear Axle locating function - often quite large like with the twins; while 'Air' and Coil Springs do not.

    --

Cannot believe the irony here...... GM Leaf LA RS vs. 'Chrysler' Coil LA RS.

So..... it really is true. Stick around long enough.......... and you will see just about everything.

Yeah, it was even cheaper than a Rebel, did you have a point?

What part of my statement was incorrect?

I was just commenting how U made a great choice with the GMC, if was yours, and when I pay money for anything I'm always happy that it wins such contests. Anyway. Great choice.

    No; 2018 GMC SLT with Premium Plus Package 5.3L 8-Speed, Crew-Cab 6 1/2' Bed.

    (related story)

A co-worker of mine has a 2016 GMC SLT Double-Cab, he now realizes that with his 2 kids, he needs 2 "people-mover" vehicles, because sometimes they have friends and are going in opposite directions/events, (he's also 6' 8" so a full-size truck is what he wants to drive) so this time going Crew-Cab, he's been talking about the AT4 at least the last 9 months, it was a major disappointment for him when he sat in one at the NAIAS, he now wants a 2018, but also wants to lease, which they won't do. I'm not sure what he is going to do.

I bet he goes to Ram or Ford. The double cab is a nice but being a big guy (6'5") I'd never buy one. Just too small.

Odd, appears the Ram came in a close second; and at $10K less?............... even closer.
Yuppers! Ram for the win. Not a viberado like the GM either.
