    New Old Truck

    Hey All!
Pretty dead around here so I figured I would post about my new ride.
Been out of the truck game for a few years but I have been needing a
truck again after renting a u-haul to pick up my new snowblower and house supplies.
Fly into Tampa and search for a rust free beauty and drive it back to rusty NY!

So on the search for a s-10/sonoma 4wd.

Not only 2 2nd? gen. s-10s 4x4s within 300 miles from Tampa fla.

    Found a 03 Chevy 4x4 x-cab 170k, fresh tranny, good tires, cold a/c
ran well NO rust and NO mods either! $2000 bucks ca$h!

Yea, It had a few issues and I figured I would have to put $500 or so
into it. IN my area of NY that cash would of bought a rusted, miled up
    but running truck.

BUT.........Filled it with gas, checked fluids and tires and drove it back to NY!

Easily worth double here in salt and rust land NY!

Well its been a while but the S-10 and Cadillac survived the NY winter and runnin' fine.110k on the
Caddy and 181k on the s-10.
Only bad news is my old 94 Buicks k-frame is rotted up in the nose and wont pass NYS Inspection
so its prob. off to the pic n pull or sold for parts.

Nice truck! I had a '01 S10 and I can say that it is a solid truck. I painted the grille and handles, added power windows, 18" Coddington wheels, intake and magnaflow muffler. I sold it to my buddy because I bought a '14 F150.
