    Upfit in which way? Both have 34.1" frame spacing, both offer Dip LOPRO or Dock Height frames. Ford offers Live Drive PTO

    It was back in the 'Blue Diamond' days, some components were in the way of our specialized body and equipment (P.T.O. drive air compressor for one). Never tried one of the newer Ford built F-650's, we need dual P.T.O.'s (Allison 3000 series) and have a strong preference for the Cummins L9G CNG engine. The Chevy medium duties we are buying will likely be used for 2 yard dumps.

    Remember that these trucks go from the dealer to the upfitter before delivery, and with the booming commercial truck sales of late it's taking a while to get a truck completed these days. I have been waiting for a couple of new Freightliners to be completed for a couple of months now. We should be seeing more of the new Chevy's pretty soon now. I have seen one.
