This ad is shorthand for why the Suburban has sold so well for so long. It held and continues to hold large numbers of people and/or cargo.
While not so good in-town, they are kings of the road.
This is a wonderful example of why we Suburbans are extremely awesome vehicles. We've been around since the 30's and 40's and we're STILL going strong. That's rare. The only other car I can think of that's been around that long is the Ford F-150.
