Why aren't there more Regal Tourx wagons on the road?

I never see them out there. Are they selling? What could be improved? In Europe they sell them a few different ways including without the black plastic moulding at the bottom. I think that could give it a classier look

Because they won't offer the V6 even though it is offered in the sportback version.

Because people aren't buying/leasing them because that's not what they want? See tripower post above^^.

Opel/Vauxhall sell two models of Insignia estate in Europe - the Sports Tourer with normal ground clearance and no cladding (estate version of the Grand Sport hatchback) - the Country Tourer with +20mm ground clearance and cladding.

The V6 isn't sold in any Vauxhall version, ie RHD.

Does anyone other than a few of us fans even know it exists? You can't buy one if you don't know it exists....

Agreed about the black plastic. No idea how much of an impact that has on the general public, though.

Needs more advertising? I don't watch TV so I have no idea how many commercials show up for it. I know I just about forgot it existed when I was wagon-shopping this year.

I will say that the internet sales people at some of these dealerships are morons. I kept telling them "TourX" but they continued insisting I wanted a Sportback or a 2017 Regal.

I've also read in a few places that the leases suck because of low residuals. Can't really confirm that personally, though.

Ultimately, it may just get lost in the CUV-world of the US, it seems.

They need to advertise it. The local dealer usually has one or two on the lot and they do get sold because next thing you know they're gone and a while later different ones show up. I think the cladding is a negative though.

I would consider one for a future purchase. I hope they will offer it eventually without cladding, if it isn't discontinued because of ever shrinking car sales in general.

Buick runs an ad where they show all their models including the cascadia/tourX. I am not sure I have seen either in real life. I do see numerous Buick SUV's especially Enclaves. Bottom line, but for Suby, no one sells wagons successfully in the US. And even Suby sells more CUV's than wagons. My wagon is one of 1600 sold during the entire production run of 5 years. The non-V variant did not do much better. I rarely see a VW wagon, or even more rare are the Acura and Benz wagons. They just do not sell at this point in time in the US. Ads are not the problem, there is no desire.

Not only is there no V6 for the Insignia in Europe, even the 2.0 turbo is already replaced by a new 1.6 Turbo. This new GM engine produces 200hp in the standard version and around 250hp in the (facelift) GSI. Because it is a GM engine, it is only available for the Insignia and (facelift) Astra.
