Production question about Equinox, Terrain and Envision

The Equinox and Terrain are made in North America. Can Envision be made at same factory?

It could be, but they do not produce Envisions in NA. Envision is only produced in China. Terrain is only produced in Mexico. Equinox is built in one Canada plant, and two Mexico plants.

Yet Lordstown has a foot print capable of handling 4-500k annual units and is following Jainesville.
Even when the cruze was churning out 300k+ it was, by my estimate, 30-40% unused space internally.

Re: Production question about Equinox, Terrain and Envision

What is it with the Envision?

Why is it important to North America in the first place?

I see it as an Over Priced, Under Sized, Over Optioned (for Buick Customers), vehicle in a Product Line already over full.

If Buick truly needs another SUV/CUV, the Nox/Terrain platform could be morphed enough to make basically an Envision in North America.

The whole "Envision" deal, most likely has to do with SAIC's wants. Testing the "World Market" than GM needing another Crossover.

"DITCH IT GM" ain't worth the hassles
