    Next generation Buick Enclave

This model is getting old. First out as a 2008 yet we haven't seen any spy shots or anything. Anybody know a timetable for new one? Odd the new LaCrosse would come first since that came out in 2010

THe enclave is still a contemporary vehicle and it's still selling well,

I almost bought one years ago for the family but it had three rows of seats and was too large for our needs.

Good looking very quiet riding vehicle though.

I prefer more sport than large size...

The enclave is a class leader ...imo

Calm-down, GM knows what they are doing, CUV and SUV are just a fad, it won't last, GM got a bunch of new sedans on the lots, and more on the way, they will be in the front of the line when the market shifts back............

But SfBreh.. its commentary like the one above that keeps these threads ALIVE.. even when they need to be with a shovel and buried.

If he was talking Cadillac.. then yeah.. I would have to uncharacteristically agree with his sarcastic comment.. But GM as a whole:

    Encore
    Enclave
    Trax
    Equinox
    Traverse
    SRX
    Acadia
    Terrain
    =8

and lets' not forget that most of the country seems to still refer CUVs as "TRUCKS" or "SUVS".. we could lump the into the mix as well. :

    Tahoe
    Suburban
    Yukon
    Yukon XL
    Escalade
    Escalade ESV

    YTD= 1,013,400... without the K2xxs CUVs equal= 794,794

Let's mozy over to FORD.. certain individuals "Walk on Water Jesus Brand..." and see what they offer:

    Escape
    Edge
    Flex
    Explorer
    MKX
    MKT
    MKC
    =7

    Expy
    Expy XL
    Nav
    Nav XL

    Total YTD 731,468

And which ones are dated and behind the technology curve?

    4 Brands vs. 2? ................

The K2XX SUV's kill Ford, when did I or anyone deny that? But even that, it is primarily from 2 areas; Tahoe Police Cruisers, and Tahoe and Suburban in Rental Fleet.

And you left out all of the other GM adds, you know the ones to fill the gaps it has with Ford's line-up.................

Envision, Captiva (yes its coming back)......

The Lambdas could quite frankly go another 2 years and still be on par with most of the industry. Its irrelevant as well.. since they. and the Theta.. and the SRX are literally on their last year

Ford merged one of its brands under one name. Mercury is alive and well.. well kinda.. within Lincoln.. or is it Titanium?

confused as to why this comment is even being made. My point was that U always show up to give some shade to anything and every comment about GM

Cool Beans. I personally thought the Captiva should have been available to retail because of the size. I have a few friends who actually bought them off rental companies

Why is it even a thread in the first place? I opened it expecting some spy shots or salient information!!

Another 2 years, well that is good, as the SRX (XT5) is the only one coming soon, I think the rest are still 18 months away.

OK, it is, but it isn't Ford killed a brand with virtually no negative impact on sales, what is wrong with that?

If you say Lincoln is "The New Mercury" that is fine, but you don't really want to go over Cadillac's ATP's do you?

If you only look at the things that work and ignore the things that aren't you'll never improve......

For example, since we talking about the K2XX SUV's, the GMT900 came out in the spring of 2006, the Lambda came out in the fall of 2006, the K2XX SUV's have been out for 24 months, the Lambda replacement is still 18 months out, take out the 6 month "head start" that the GMT900 SUV's had, and you have a difference of 3 full years! "Let's just keep making this old model because it is still selling" is "Old GM" mentality!

The new Equinox and Captiva will be the same size, this is something that GM kinda backed into with the demise of Saturn, but it has worked well I have no problem with continuing that approach.
(although I'm still not sure if it is going to be sold for US rental fleet or just to other regions of the globe)

U Think? Even if.. sales don't seem to be taking a hit.. each up for the year, 2 outta 3 above 15%.

Let's!!! What are Lincoln's ATPs. What are Lincoln's awards? Where is Lincoln in terms of brand perception? Who the hell really cares anyway?

I see someone is taking a Philosophy 101 class at the local CC

For example, since we talking about the K2XX SUV's, the GMT900 came out in the spring of 2006, the Lambda came out in the fall of 2006, the K2XX SUV's have been out for 24 months, the Lambda replacement is still 18 months out, take out the 6 month "head start" that the GMT900 SUV's had, and you have a difference of 3 full years! In fact the refresh from 2013 might count for something. The Lambdas did get one. Fool me.. Fool a bunch.. cause I kno real people who actually think that refresh is an entirely new model after having the previous one.

GMT900s NEVER.. NEVER.. received a refresh. Buy a 2007 Tahoe.. buy a 2014 Tahoe.. pretty much the same thing with exception to a few lil augmentations and the absence of a hybrid in the upper years. Believe me.. I owned a 2007, and not once saw a reason to buy a new one even 8 MY years later. OLD GM mentality was "No refresh.. same car." Hence the reason why we got 10 years of Camaro Gen4 and 11 years Gen 3. Lambdas are the same.. but GM did a nice job hiding it. Damn nice.. Especially on the Acadia. That vehicle is now, IMO, a KNOCK-OUT. The Enclave was always a woman's SUV to me.. nice nonetheless.. but not manly enough.. considering I'm taking CUVs

The new Equinox and Captiva will be the same size, this is something that GM kinda backed into with the demise of Saturn, but it has worked well I have no problem with continuing that approach.
(although I'm still not sure if it is going to be sold for US rental fleet or just to other regions of the globe)

See.. Thanks!!! That's the type of info I enjoy getting from U. No chance U would consider being a GM INSIDER vs a GM HATER ?

Enclave still looks good, but that is a long run: 10 years with only a mid-cycle enhancement. So if it is a 2018, when will see it? Nov 17 in Los Angeles?
