    GM Files Trademark for Anthem

Is there still another Buick CUV in the pipeline?

Sure, why not, if 3 is good, 4 is better - A mid-size that matches up with the XT5, Acadia and Trailblazer.

Isn't the Envision (the one from China) about the same size as the XT5 and Acadia?

The Envision is actually pretty short.

    Envision: 184"
    XT5: 190"
    Acadia: 193"

The Traverse (and assuming the next Enclave) are probably going to be another foot longer than the Acadia. I guess that does leave room for an XT5/Acadia length Anthem.

This seems to probably slot where the Lexus RX is, so its probably going to be like the Accadia All terrain, 5 seater

Agreed. Probably not a three row, but a two row with more luxury and better rear seat comfort.

Hard to keep track I see?................

No, Envision is roughly the same size as an Escape (which is also the same size as the new Equinox).

I suspect this would line-up with the XT5/Acadia/Trailblazer, which means it would roughly be equal the Edge/MKX.

In my "GM Alternate Timeline, 1982-present" scheme, I launched Saturn in 1990 not as a semi-independent purveyor of small cars, but as an Oldsmobile-operated brand aimed at semi-upscale imports like Acura. The launch product was the "Anthem" sedan, inspired by the real-life 1992 Oldsmobile concept of the same name...

Let's get something a little larger than the Enclave.

Probably just another SUV. Here's an idea along the lines of what t-rexx had cooked up: The new Astra hatch and call it the Anthem over here.

I'm digging those 19" Color TUBE TV's hanging from the rafters; I bet the feed is via coax cable to a 4-head VCR in the closet.

Why are we all assuming it's a name for a Buick? Sounds more like a GMC name to me. And I'm thinking it's more on the small scale, compete with the Jeep Renegade.

Found this: Labeled as the '2015 Buick Anthem'. Certainly looks like the Envision.

Maybe GM will use it for an "Acadia XL" to replace the original Acadia/Acadia Limited - Anthem does start with an "A" where Buick CUV/SUV start with an "E".
