    ELR Lease

So I'm about 6 months out from my ATS lease finishing, and I'm pretty much sure I want a Coupe as my next car. C Coupe and RC were the front runners.

I was looking at my Cadillac dealer's website, and found that there's a hell of a good deal going on the ELR for a 36 month lease in Metro Detroit:

    http://www.suburbancadillacbuick.com...oy-MI/62479000

That's an insanely good deal. I really love the C and RC, but I'd drive an ELR over both since I think it looks better and has a much nicer interior, and chances are I'd even save money doing so (!).

    Should I do it?

Can't hurt to test drive one to see how you really feel in it.

I would say yes. The interior is most likely much better than your ATS, but with more sporting power. It'll have a ton of torque.

    Re: ELR Lease

I clicked on the link but nothing came up.

Give us the details of the lease your considering.

I test drove the ELR and the tesla model S in the insane mode.

Believe it or not...I thought GM did a better job of making a better luxury car....clearly not faster but still a better luxury car.

Go for the ELR in confidence. I enjoyed my time behind the wheel of the ELR and after test driving if the Cadillac dealer had worked on selling me the car I probably would have bought one. The stupid dealer never bothered to call and life got busy and I just never bothered to go back.

I wasn't going to sell my corvette but rather lease the ELR for my wife in addition to her existing Cadillac sedan with AWD.

    Re: ELR Lease

I think it's a good idea. The ELR looks great, has a great interior, tons of presence, and very fuel efficient. Drive it and then you'll know.

Btw, I really think the ELR will be a future classic.

Definitely drive it first. You are used to a car with nimble handling and the ELR is a very heavy car. I'm not sure if it drives like one or if it hides it's weight well.

If you like how it drives and you have accessible charging at home I say go for it.

Go for it! Coupes are COOL despite what the masses believe and the electric torque of the ELR should more than satisfy.

Well, bad news on the Cadillac front, literally. Someone smoked my ATS:

$399 a month with $1,399 due at signing for 39 months. 10,000 miles a year. I'll likely do 15,000 miles on my next lease again, so it'll be a little more than that.

I think I'll at least drive it...

I think I'd be stupid to pass it up. It's just that good of a deal! It's literally ATS money for an ELR.

Only issue is, will they pull my current lease forward?
