Build and Price is up on the LaCrosse

The B&P on this is an easy process. I loaded her down and still ended up at under 50K.

The one I built passed $50,000. $50,270 to be exact.

That is a LOT of money for a Buick sedan...

Seems rather pricey vis-a-vis the new Lincoln MKZ. And the 400-hp engine option makes the MKZ even more appealing for the price. Wish Buick offered something like that on this new LaCrosse!

I think i was building something that i would own. You must have done "the kitchen sink" treatment. Cool.

I think that the car will do well. I'm wondering what a similarly equipped Lexus ES goes for....Does Dslay04 know?

From the pictures; this car is going to have a shifter similar to the one Chrysler is having so much trouble over in the Grand Cherokee?

Considering the demographic of Jeep vs. Buick................

Isn't it possible to get a CT6 for under 50K? I don't know why anyone (at least not very many)is going to pay these high prices for a Buick Lacrosse.

Does anyone consider a Buick LaCrosse to be anywhere near comparable to a Lexus ES? I would say it is more comparable to the Nissan Maxima than the Lexus. An the Maxima is much better equipped for less money

I was poking around the Buick site; 20% off a 2016, which is about 5% lower than GM Employee; can buy a mid-level 2016 LaCrosse for under $30K OTD through July 8th.

So to get real leather and 20" wheels instead of "leatherette" and the ugly 18" wheels I have to spend over $40k because GM doesn't offer it on the lower packages?

God GM you are so freakin annoying.

I think the LaCrosse is more of a competitor to the Toyota Avalon than anything else. As much as I like LaCrosse you won't receive the ownership privileges a Lexus owner receives and not to mention Lexus isn't selling a $23k Verano or a $22k Encore next to a $45k-$50k Buick sedan.

There might be a few people out there who trade a Lexus in for the Buick, but people seriously need to stop saying Lexus and Buick are competitors. In a few select segments they might be but nobody I know who drives a Lexus would dare look at the LaCrosse. When Buick sells a $300k+ supercar, a $65k+sedan and expensive SUV's then call me.

In the cross shopping I've been doing lately, most other mfrs. seem to be better equipped for less money.
