Just over 19,000 Reatta coupes and 2,400 convertibles were built! I wonder how the Cascada is doing?
I wish they all could be California squirrels!

Nice picture. Being in a warmer climate here they have sold a few of these Cascada's here and every once in a while I see them or a Reatta out on the roads. My how times have changed.

    Re: Buick Reatta & Cascada

That Reatta is exactly like the '90 that I used to have. It was really a very nice car. A better driver's car than it is given credit for. It could have used another 50 horsepower or so, and I think the supercharged 3.8 V-6 was eventually headed its way. (If I remember, a staffer for one of one of the major auto mags wrecked the supercharged prototype.)

About 19K total in 3 years. It will outsell the Reatta.

The Casscada (terrible name for a terrible car) wasn't on the list of cars getting the axe?.......It should have been the 1st.

Being that it's an Opel, it's likely to fade away.

    Reatta was a neat car.

Was another typical GM case however. The finally get rid of the problematic CRT screen and upgrade to standard controls for center stack and then axe the program. Also as mentioned the SC3800 was right around the corner too. Would have been a good halo car for Buick, especially if it would have been supercharged and AWD.

Boy, doesn't the Reatta make the Cascada look fat!

Neat pic! I've grown to like the Cascada.

It's a shame that the Cascada is basically a "one and done" model. It's underpowered, but it's still nice for GM to have a convertible that isn't the Camaro.

Cascada cost little to bring to the US and it shows -- the electrical system and advanced safety features are dated. The whole thing feels very 2006. It fills a gap left by the 200/Sebring so it suffices.

I'm not crazy about it but I'm glad it's here. I like anything that isn't another soulless tall box.

Cascada has already ended - Buick are selling through existing stock as Opel stopped shipments due to low sales in the US.

Cascada is based on Astra-J which went on sale in 2009 so is inevitably dated.
