    1995 Buick Park Avenue Ultra

Saturday I was at the dealer getting an oil change, and this gem had just arrived.

1995 Buick Park Avenue Ultra - 34k original miles. From what the service adviser told me, it was from PA, and always garage kept. I really doubt this would ever become a collectible, but a great near showroom new time capsule.

I always liked this looks of this generation. Had a strong, broad shouldered look, though of course out of step with the broader market.

Awesome sight, it sure looks good from that photo. I liked that generation and the one that followed, of which my parents owned a 1997 Park Avenue for a couple of years, and thought they were nice looking cars.

Looks well maintained. That was a good, sturdy car in those days.

I preferred the 1997-2005 Buick Park Avenues and the mid 1990s Roadmaster. Roadmaster is such an awesome name for a massive Buick.

Well, that didn't last long. I went back and looked, and it's been sold already.

Someone has gotten themselves a 20yo nearly new Buick.

I notice that in my community too. The good ones never last, they get snatched up pretty quickly.

I seriously love those 1991-1995 Park Avenue Ultra's. Driving one down the highway in a heavy thunderstorm honestly feels like you are the captain of a large ship going through a storm.

    Back when cars had-

    Real trunks
    Attractive exterior styling
    Could seat 6
Had interior colors other than black and grey
Made loads of low and mid range torque
Easily got 30 plus highway MPG despite being this large
    Were actually really full size

They were large on the outside, but not so roomy on the inside, comparatively speaking.
