My last two cars both had a Panic button...an Audi A4 and a VW GTI. I can't remember if my BMW Z3 had a panic button or not.

The 300C doesn't have a panic button in Europe. So a picture of a European Key Fob typically doesn't have panic.
Gotcha, but it wasn't clear from your original post. You didn't say "cars in Europe," you said "European cars." Most people consider an Audi, BMW, or VW a "European car" even when they are driven in the US (or Canada, in the case of the Audi).

I have one of these with my Mazda6, its durable, solid, and perfect in size. Its also something to play with if you get bored walking to your car.

I guess I'm alone on this. But I didn't see anything wrong with the key fobs that GM has been using for the past 10 years. They don't break and aren't too expensive to replace if lost. Something that can't be said for some of these new key/keyless entry fobs that usually cost a fortune.

The feature exists. You hold the Unlock (or Lock) button for a few seconds for panic.

No need to get testy or rude just because the keyfob is made from Honda. If you don't like it based on how it looks, that's cool and respectable, however...

Ahh!!! Here I thought this keyfob was some antiquated device, until I checked my pocket an noticed this is what my Aura came with.

While it does the job, what bugs me about it is that it is constant rubbing my dashboard when I'm driving, since the ignition switch is in the dashboard and not the steering column. I suspect the area on my dash below the ignition will be full of small scratches after a couple of years.

Re: What's the Astra's Key Look Like?

I personally like my GM keys and remotes. I wholeheartedly HATE keys that have buttons on the surface I use to start the vehicle. I do however agree that the dangling fob tapping against the steering column or dashboard is annoying.

I'd take the integrated foldable key/fob combination, but only if it was for a keyless ignition setup where I never removed it from my pocket unless the battery went dead..
