Let me preface this by saying, the video is not complete, and gets cut off, for that I am sorry.

I really liked this prototype. I wish the styling had come to production- along with the movable fender skirts.

I just read on Google Print, Popular Science Aug 1987, that it was made with a Fireo style space-frame, and a 2.0L 200hp 16V engine from the Sunbird (but that high hp engine wasn't available for the production car).

Configurable screens? Check. Thumb controls on the steering wheel? Check. Weather map and real time info? Check. GPS navigation? Check. Hmmm. It sounds like the precursor for MyFord Touch.
Buy American. Buy Ford. So say we all!

All-Electric Power Steering, expected soon from GM
AWD with 3" of Ground Clearance for better Areo.

Some glimpses of the future, some Way misses, and some Just Late Comings.
