Are you NUTS?? Pontiac doesn't need a version of the Nomad, should it be built. Pontiac has had enough Chevy clones. The only acceptable one would be the Camaro/GTO or Firebird(if a new one gets built), only. The G5 & the Torrent need to be dropped! STAT!

I think it would look better if it was done for Chevy. A revival of the Nomad, like the concept at the Detroit Auto Show.

It's lines are, in a word, muscular.

I would like to see some 'non-roadster- Kappas. This and the Nomad could be a good start.

I know I'm in the minority on this, but I think it's cool looking.

I frankly Approve. Anybody second that?
I don't have a problem with this car - I think it looks kind of neat. It's not like GM is selling it anyway - this is an aftermarket company offering a styling alternative to Solstice owners.

Also, Pontiac has in its history had a "Nomad" of its own called the Safari. This is a 1957 Safari:

I'm sorry but that add-on top sucks. If they want a wagon like vehicle then make the Nomad. It looked great and had seats for 4 passengers. Please do not build this Solstice mutation!!!

This is an aftermarket add-on, its a Hardtop, it would be the right option for the next winter.
It changes the solstice into a real fullyear car, roadster in summer roomy two seat coupé in winter. For gm with almost no investigations...
so, bring this option to market, for Opel too!!!

I disagree. I think this will not only make the Solstice more useful, it makes it look cooler too!

I believe it will make its way to the market, officially through GM or not, but I would rather see Opel do a true coupe version in the mold of the original GT, or at least a hardtop add-on that would make it look like one. I think at one stage the GT prototype had one.

    Re: Pontiac Solstice Wagon

What they should do is strech the wheelbase, put four doors on it, change the styling a little bit, and call it a Tempest. It would probably sell well because there aren't any affordable compact rwd wagons on the market.

I actualy really like that hatcback look, but then again Im biased.
I would much rather have that hard top that they offer for SCCA, and I heard that you can get them through your dealer...lord knows how much they are gunna rape you for that.
