    Nsap's G8, Ready For Summer

At the start of every summer I always give the G8 a full detail/wax job. I somehow found the ambition to do that today. Here are a couple HDR shots of it

Nice. Looks good with the tint. What % is the tint?

Take the little GM "zits" off. It gives it a better look. I did on ours and was happy.

That makes me a little jealous. I could have easily had one myself...is that dark grey or black? Either way I love the color, and the wheels too.

By the way, you never seem to pick the most glamorous places for photo-shoots, still you take awesome pictures. I need to learn how to be more artistic.

All Star, I think he chose that hellhole to make the car look stunning, and it works.

Or else, that's where he lives.

20% in the rear, 25% in the front. It took me months to get the courage to have it tinted. I was worried it would look blue-ish like so many do, but the guy who did it did fantastic work.

Panther Black Metallic. My wax job just made it so shiny its hard to tell

The photo scene I pick depends on the car. In this case I wanted something with little color but a lot of different texture. I tend to gravitate to structures in the background, not sure why.

Very nice. I've never seen your G8 in picture until now. I also see your promoting your "hip" image.

    Before the tint:

Obviously the tint made a world of difference.

    Beautiful car, Nick!

I'm one of those fellas who usually doesn't like the tinted windows... I guess I've seen my share of bad jobs... But your car looks fantastic!

    Thanks!

I was the same way on tint. I had seen so many terrible looking applications that I was worried about mine. The guy that did the G8 had just finished working on a black Camaro SS at the time and that sealed the deal for me...fantastic work.

Makes me kind of disappointed window tints are illegal on the front windows in NJ...I don't want to press my luck, as if I need another reason to get pulled over.

That's not been lost on me. It seems like you have a pretty good eye for photography. You've got a pretty nice car, too.

Thanks. I have a lot to learn about photography, but I'm slowly chipping away at it. I wish I had more time to photograph press cars, but only having them a week makes that difficult. I'm getting an XTS at the end of the month...hoping I have time to get some good shots of it.
