Woop-te-doo. GM miserably failed that car company. It's rather sad because it had a lot going for it.

Go figure.......being squeezed by the more-popular Malibu from below and about to be by a resurgent Buick from above was never a good mix.....

But yet, pigs like the Outlook and Vue will keep on truckin I bet
When you turn your car on....does it return the favor?

    Re: Aura dead?

^^I agree, don't believe that the Aura is going to be eliminated. They may stop production of the current Aura, but the 2nd Gen will be getting built soon after 1st Gen Aura ceases. It will probably just be a transition period from 1st gen to 2nd gen of Aura.
IF It's A Chevrolet & RWD, Don't ride in it!!!

ALL Chevy's NEED to be FWD/F-AWD!!!

    If it's a Toyota/Lexus/Scion, Don't ride in/drive it!!

    Re: Aura dead?

I wanted to buy an Aura XR but the Malibu was cheaper after negotiation vs. MSRP at Saturn.

GM won't kill Saturn or the Aura, don't get too excited.

The Aura is not getting killed. That quote is suggesting that the Aura will no longer be built at the Fairfax plant, which is true. Aura or Saturn are not going anywhere.

Thank you. It's amazing what conclusions people jump to. I thought it was pretty clear that the spokesperson was speaking only about production at Fairfax.

    Re: Aura dead?

I'm assuming production of the Aura will move to where the G6 is currently being built. The title of this thread clearly needs to be changed to something more relavent.

Most likely Orion. Seeing how it will have a ton of capacity to spare past 2012 or so.
