    Nice!

I remember a Single Lady, in town had a 67, Firebird, OHC 6 cylinder. Drk Green.
It was her daily driver all through out the 70 and early 80's. Then it just disappeared.

I saw that Barrett Jackson listing on the guide last night but didn't go there. Thanks for posting this, pretty cool stuff I think.

It's probably sitting in some barn or garage somewhere.

In 1979 I had the opportunity to buy a 1969 Trans Am convertible. I often wondered if it was the real deal. I recently found this on a Trans Am site...confirms it was (VIN#7816). One of eight produced!

I wish they all could be California squirrels!

I believe these two vehicles were restored by Gas Monkey Garage.

For many long years I wanted a '68 Firebird 400. Now I have its heir.

Yep, and the total cost to the supposed buyers was over 500k.

No. A Camaro is not a Firebird heir. They were cut out of the will.

On February 23 2017 the Firebird will be 50. Hopefully GM at least mentions it in some way.

edit: Not a whimper was heard.
