We all have a bias when it comes to what we like and dislike, and I definitely have a preference for GM cars, Chevys in general. With that in mind, I can admire designs of other automotive manufacturers even though I may never buy from them due to my preference. When it comes to the media, it seems some journalists just flat out have a bias that is clearly evident in the headlines and reviews. Just today I saw a headline on a Motor Trend review, "Refreshing or Revolting" in reference to the CT6-V, and this past week another publications headline in reference to the C8 stated something along the lines of "5 good things and 5 bad things" about the new C8. Obviously personal preference is important but it just seems some of these writers can't bring themselves to let go of their bias, those two headlines clearly show their bias or dislike for two excellent vehicles. I can go on and on about other slights, but you get the point. Those same headlines/backhanded compliments don't happen when talking about the latest Porsche or Ferrari supercar, they get a pass due to their name. Don't get me wrong, I don't agree with everything GM does and I think there are some aspects that could be better, but as a whole GM seems to be the red headed step child that no matter when they do, they will never get the kudos they deserve even when they hit a homerun.
