I don't know why but for some reason I feel like they need a great big "we told ya so" from the likes of us and many, many others.

    The coffin on wheels
It just looks like GM tried to do too much with engines and not enough elsewhere

I don’t know why it bothered with the 2.7 when there’s a low HP version of the 3.0 TT V6 that would put Silverado back in focus with Ford, the I-4T is and always will be a novelty, a distraction away from mainstream buyers, give them an “Ecoboost V6” alternative and watch the sales come back

Maybe not even that, just go back to what works

The Truck portfolio manager needs to go PERIOD. As does the Bean Counters, starting with "Mother Mary". Profit before Volume is fine, as long as there is not anyone else in the Market, trying to take your Volume. Eventually there is No Volume, and No Profit.
I would say all the top brass need to go, including Mark Reuss, he has been the biggest dissapointment of them all for not fighting harder. I knew from the jump Mary was a big fail.

The Silverado/Sierra is going to make or break GM, and unless things improve quickly (and the next Tahoe is Amazing) then GM is going to end up back in bankruptcy, or more likely will be sold.
"The car's brilliant and ... a great surprise, pleasant surprise for all Corvette lovers everywhere ... a huge shock to our competitors ... because I don't think anybody was expecting something that good. What pleases me the most about it was that ... I can say this is the first car that's come out, that was done since I left.

What was so bad about it? Converting your Double Cab, Regular Cab plant Crew Cabs, while your to be transitioned plant continues to make previous generation Crew Cabs; remember Crew Cabs are +70% percent of the market, and the only reason GM sold so many Double Cabs, was because they had to, Ft. Wayne couldn't make Crew Cabs.

    Exactly.

What was so botched about the role-out? Tooling up an idled plant to keep production and inventory up..............

Ford's problem was they couldn't make them fast enough; GM's is they can't sell them fast enough.

    Very well said.

It's unfortunate, but it's the truth.

I said they did a worse job than Ford, and that's still not good enough for you, too funny
