What kind of bigger? Lift? Duration? Ramp rates? Overlap? Which 5.3?

Any cam swap is recommended highly with a Tune. If you're spending that kind of money for a cam swap why not do it right with at least a tune?

So true. In many cases, tuning a bolt-on car will give just as much power as the same car with a small cam swap and NO tune.

You might gain 10-15 HP going to a first-design LS6 cam, but you might be able to come close to doubling that increase if you got a post-swap tune.
