Re: GM Reveals 2021 GMC Yukon

GMC has been a very well run brand. I think it really is the only GM brand that isn't tarnished in some way. All of the others have baggage from some past issues, real or perceived, that they struggle to overcome.

This is why I think an electric truck should be a GMC. And I'm glad that that truck will only be a model named Hummer, but still a GMC truck.
Drives a 2019 Cadillac ATS Coupe and a 1988 Pontiac Trans Am GTA.

In the past, I've had a 5th gen Camaro, a CTS sedan and coupe, two 3rd gen Firebird Formulas, a convertible 4th gen Trans Am, a Reatta, a couple of Monte Carlos, an Avenger coupe, a couple of Cavalier hatchbacks, a Saturn SC1, and a Cherokee.

As to the exterior, just a new fascia front and rear for 21. Current styling gets a lot of "likes" in the automag and You Tube reviews. Interior needs serious work though, especially Denali trim. Don't know if there are any changes there for 21.

The front and rear fascia wasnt the problem with the Terrain....their horrible implementation of the floating roof that seemed like an afterthought was the problem.

I like that the wood trim actually looks like wood (at least in the pictures). The real wood GMC/Buick has been using looks fake to me.

Yeah, GM's "real wood" has sucked in most applications for a long time. This looks better, gives me hope for the Escalade.

While I find the new Yukon to be handsome. I find the Tahoe/Suburban to be even more handsomer which is a first for me in a long long time.

    Nice job GM!

We just looked at a 2020 Arcadia AT4 last week. I liked the new fascia and the interior colors, but was not wowed overall. The Rainier driver in the family didn't like that it sat lower than his SUV. THEN...he saw a Yukon and had to test drive it. Guess what his next SUV will be? And now, with this new AT4 added to the Yukon line...

How much are these things going to cost? And are there any pics of the SLT floating around out there?

I didn't know GMC added another model to the lineup.

That would be funny if GM was able to fit the Diesel in the AT4 but not the Z71!

The AT4 is quite nice, especially with the air suspension.
Just because they can make the headlights small, doesn't mean they should..............................

Surprised by this one too, but they sell more Denali's than they do Escalade in-total, so why not?

According to one of the engineers TFL truck interviewed 60% of Yukon sales are Denali, well worth the investment in dash design.
