Chevy has done pretty well overall since their return to indy racing. To me this is whats missing from Nascar, let the manufacturers actually compete.

Honda is most likely focusing on the big prize, the Indy 500, the only IndyCar race that means anything. I am not condemning IndyCar racing because I really like it, especially the road course events. If Honda wins the 500 again, they will get far more publicity than Chevy would from Chevy winning all the other races.

We'll see. I'm really looking forward to the speedway kits.

Well, this time, we will see, Unless Honda is Sandbagging. The Chevy Kit is made to be used for all sorts of speed requirements. The Idea is take off bits and peaces as you need or do not need them.

You have to take into account that the chassis is the same, so, you throw in the aerodynamics from the manufacturer and the powertrains and you get results, holding some factors constant of course..
there is also driver skill in play..

Sorry but this is Chevy just in name. The engine is British (Ilmor), not American, in fact, the Honda engine is more American than the actual "Chevy"engine. Who would have thought?

Without cable, I can only watch Nascar once a week. Hell, it's the only racing I can watch over the air using an antennae. So, I watch it. If Nascar had become like Australian Supercar, I would be hooked. GT Class cars are the best to relate to what you could see on the road. Instead of the Nascar Truck Series, they should make those GT Class cars. Use actual Camaros, Mustangs and Challengers and whatever 2 door coupes currently being manufactured.

Couldn't agree more. They should have to stick with whatever drive/engine layout a car is. For instance, a Toilota Camry has no resemblance to the car on the race track. I lost most my interest a LONG time ago.
