Eric Curran and Boris Said are set to fly the American flag in Europe this year, as part of a factory effort with the new Callaway Corvette C7 GT3-R.

The longtime friends and co-drivers will share the wheel of a Callaway Competition-run entry in selected GT3 races throughout Europe, including rounds in ADAC GT Masters, the British GT Championship, VLN as well as the possibility of some Blancpain GT Series races.

The Corvette program is so respected in road racing circles (LeMans) that they need to look to Porsche as a template for how to do a customer program. I know Corvette has had customer cars for a while now, but nothing like Porsche. I think this is an area of opportunity. Let someone else shoulder some of the risk/cost and the Corvette brand still benefits (just like how Porsche has).

Corvette totally crucified the worlds very best supercars in Le Mans. I just hope Corvette don't ever sit on their laurels, and become complacent, as beating the world best is not a easy task. What Corvette have achieved is truly remarkable not easily done.

Corvette C7 GT3-R will turn Aston Martin, Ferrari and Porsche owners green with envy, the Corvette has probably the finest propulsion system in the world right that can be found in any world supercar.

Have watched European GT3 & GT4, Ford GT struggles a bit in GT3 in the past, Ford Mustang has won GT4 in the past, but really struggle in corners as it centre of gravity is just way to high compared to the rest..
