I can't wait to see these cars !!! Just don't come out of the box too hot like they did the last time............and then they were hit with major restrictors and weight penalties for being "too competitive".

Its just what cadillac needs to do with the V-Series. Show the rest of the world that they know how to produce a car that not only competes, but beats them. With introduction of the alpha based Caddy coming out it and now the racing it shows that cadillac is focusing their attention on the building the brand as a true performance luxury brand and not just rappers blingmobiles or retirement home shuttles. All they need to a true competitor in the large car market. The XTS is not going to be it. I hope that it is just a stop gap vehicle. The future does look promising

    This is really good news.

In a time when most manufacturers are getting out of racing, Cadillac is getting back in it. That says a lot to me, especially since Cadillac is just getting by right now.

I think this is the return of Cadillac in general. It shows that GM is taking Cadillac serious.

I'm expecting more great news from Cadillac.

I wonder if V series will get more serious RACE models/options like Dodge ACR racecars?

    You know what's funny?

BMW is pulling out of racing series all over the world, but people will still try to claim that Cadillac isn't really world class, because it hasn't beaten BMW yet. But the only reason it won't beat BMW is because BMW will probably wimp out and not even have a factory effort.

While BMW may be exiting high cost series like F1, they are actually doing so in order to focus on the types of motorsport series that are more relevant to its customers, such as European LeMans, American LeMans, Grand Am, etc. They are also preparing for a return to DTM racing in 2011. Believe me, BMW Motorsports is not going away. In fact, BMW USA just added a program where customers can buy Motorsport parts from selected dealers!

Andy Pilgram and Johnny O`Connell are good picks as drivers though Ron Fellows should be involved in setting up and testing the vehicles. I assume Pratt and Millar will once again prepare the vehicles. If they do indeed prep and manage the team, I fervently hope that the Corvette program is not negatively affected. The Corvette should always be prioritized when it comes to racing.

This is wonderful news to hear from Cadillac for enthusiasts. It is a very good direction for Cadillac to shift into in order to accelerate racing technologies and applications for Cadillac V Series performance luxury models.

For new Cadillac owners enthusiasts like me, seeing sponsorships like racing for Cadillac even more solidifies Cadillac’s V Series for me. I like this move for Cadillac
