In other news Bob Graziano who was in FPV's garage as an official guest announced on TV and via press release Ford Australia will continue to sponsor FPV racing next season - no expiry date on sponsorship nominated.

Volvo is also joining Mercedes and Nissan next year in the championship. Garry Rogers Motorsport will run an official team of two S60-based COTF racers.

Edit: Grouse crash in the Masters between Seaton's Falcon GT and Medeicke's Camaro!

What's doing with the Fijitsu Holdens front badge? At first glance I thought they were rocking a Vauxhall badge, but further looks seem to show that the badge is removed hust leaving the plastic blank... Is this because GRM are going Volvo?

GRM cars are running a Commemorative badge for the 50th year of Garry Rogers Motorsport. Has GRM 50 years in text surrounded by a Laurel.

was interesting to watch this years speed comparison between the HRT race car, VF GTS and a 2002 VX GTS.

amazing the difference in speed over just a few years

Re: Bathurst 1000 Armoral Top Ten Shootout - Qualifying

It;d be an interesting exercise to strip a VF GTS right down - although the V8 Supercar is 140 extra hp it's mainly the 400kg that makes it quicker - plus tyres and brakes,. GTS would have more torque.

That VX s similar to what Motor took to Nurburgring that blew the E39 and CL55 away by ten seconds a lap.

Interesting thing is he COTF isn't much if any faster than the 2013 racers.

How close: 125 laps down and 36 laps to go, the 1-2 qualifiers are a couple of seconds apart and 5 litres difference in fills.

And oil everywhere on the track over the top of the mountain...that will have a huge outcome on the race.
Everyone must now decide just how hard they will charge throught those greasy conditions, go too hard
and your race will be over..

Bob Graziano at the track, soaking up the atmosphere and love from all the Ford fans....

20 laps, nose to tail, full tanks, new tyres - nothing in it. Watching them slide through Griffiths! Holy Sheet!

The Graz's security detail is keeping an eye out for Kamikoalas with Eucalyptus bombs....

Tander and Lowndes both quicker than 1-2-3, Tander fastest in the race.

New lap record frm Tander, 1 sec faster than leaders..... 1-2-3-4-5 half a second.

What a great race. Good hard, fair driving and sportsmanship at the end! How close, to have six cars on the same starting straight.

Congratulations to Winterbottom. No surrender from him. Good for Ford Oz, hope they stay in post 2015.
