See that brownish subcompact car? That's the production version of the 2015 Opel Corsa posing for its first official photo shoot. Thanks to this little Parisian promenade and Blog Automobile's crack team of spy photographers, we found out how the Corsa E looks like in the flesh four months before Opel will officially unveil the B-segment city dweller at the Paris Auto Show.

From the looks of it, there's not much change between the current generation of the German runaround and the all-new model. The profile is almost the same between the two except from the lower crest, while the front fascia and headlights borrow visual cues from the Adam. Rear passenger doors and windows have a whiff Meriva to their styling, while the sculpted flanks and tail lamps are definitely inspired from the Astra compact hatchback.

Ass end looks weird. Not sure how the Adam look is going to translate, but I hope it does it well. I love the Adam.

Re: Opel/Vauxhall Corsa E Spied Undisguised

I notice that on the Autocar website (www.autocar.co.uk) the Vauxhall-bashing has already begun by the usual trolls. This being despite the fact that Autocar is running an article where one of their journalists has already ridden in the new Corsa and written about the extensively mechanical changes from Corsa D to Corsa E, with extensive quoting from GME's chassis development manager, Michael Harder. Overall, the author's impression from the passenger's seat is very positive.

From where I am sitting, GM has done a heck of a lot more than VW managed with the Mark 5 > Mark 6 Golf, which are essentially the same vehicle. Nobody lambasted VW for that. Why should GM be so castigated?

    NEW Corsa

    OLD Corsa

Not a lot has changed front looks a bit sleeker more French Pug like, computer generated cars always seem to sit on big rims that never turn out like that in reality.

Only Corsa l ever liked was a Bakkie.

I think the new Vauxhall Viva renderings were much much better, will end up out selling the Corsa in the EU. Will this halt the Corsa's European decline in sales l doubt it.

Corsa is GMs best selling car in Europe sales are in downward decline

Vauxhall Viva looks a winner though, Capri hockey stick pressed on side panels looks the right way round

Viva is much better, the hockey stick looks ooh so wrong the wrong way round on the new Corsa.

Because it's GM (or a subsidiary thereof), and it's cool to bash on GM.

The Mk5 was 5 years old when the Mk6 came out, and the Mk7 was introduced 4 years after that. The current Corsa has been around for 8 years now.

    Mk5 > Mk6 > Mk7 = 9 years
    Corsa D > Corsa E = 8 years

The new Mini hatch doesn't look much different from the previous either (or from the first one for that matter), and that's not a problem.

How much different can you make a small hatch while keeping some of the signature design cues?

The Cooper has a classic look, much like the 500 or Beetle which allows it to age well relatively. The Corsa doesn't have a classic design.

You will get away with that on the Golf, is what people like sales went up on the Mark 5, 6 and 7, Corsa is different sales are in a terminal decline.

When you look at last years UK Corsa sales its not very popular does not appeal very much to the private buyer, a Mr Avis & Mr Hertz seem to be its biggest fanboys, thanks for posting the link to Autocar nearly every post says it has not changed much they don't like it looks the same as dull as ditchwater. All l can say General Motors can expect much the same a constant fall off in sales and loss of Corsa market share in Europe, with huge losses created from selling big batches to Hertz & Avis at a big discount.

    British Corsa Sales last year.
    Corsa Fleet Sales 49,670
    Corsa Private sales 34,605
    Corsa Total 84,275

Corsa is GMs best selling car in Europe sales are in a steady slow downward decline
    2007 402,092
    2008 360,781
    2009 347,857
    2010 319,986
    2011 314,111

The same looking car arrives looking more stale than ever, looks like happy days all the way for the Viva/Fiat 500/Golf?
    2015 198,000 Corsa sales?

Over one-third of Corsa's in Europe ended up sold in the UK, mainly as a rental fleet car, will become yum yum sales for the new budget car cannibal eating Vauxhall Viva, Vauxhalls budget Dacia rival..

New Corsa looks much the same, expect much the same steady continued slow downward trend in sales, Mr Hertz & Avis will will get bigger and bigger big batch discounts on unsold cars, will need heavy discounts to private buyers who still won't put saving a few euro's before buying a car they would like to own, folk who posted on Autocar seem pretty much sincere to me would like to buy a Vauxhall, like other Vauxhalls, but all say it's to God damm dull would not touch it. Problem is all a General Motors problem if they like producing a car that looks the exact the same car thats just ended production that has slowly declining sales. Vauxhall wannabes who took the time and trouble posting on Autocar were politely saying they don't like it, maybe Mark Adams might think putting a Capri hockey stick back to front on door panels is a massive ground breaking change step foreword, but it looks like potential buyers look like they have already voiced their truthful own personal opinion on Autocar, will it fall on arrogant General Motors deaf ears?

If Mark Adam Grandad had designed the Model-T, Mark Adams 2015 Model-T would look like this with maybe a back to front Capri Mk1 hockey stick pressed in the door panels. Mmmm a great ground breaking step forward?

Mark Adams new 2015 refresh renderings, the same?

This Corsa won't fix GM Opel money pit problem in Europe, why because its much the same as old Corsa with a constant decline in market share, Vauxhall buying wannabes on Autocar thought expected the Corsa was gonna be much better like the Adam, Mokka & Insignia all thumbs up, this is a thumbs down refresh that looks the same expect the same decline in sales, decline in market share, decline in profits, decline in love for the Corsa.

OLD GM, very much still alive and kicking in Europe to many same car models chasing the same buyer.
New budget price Dacia fighter the Vauxhall Viva will be a big sales stealer if Auto Express renderings are accurate it will cannibalise Opel made Vauxhall sales big time, Adam will continue to slowly grow, Agila now a total invisible non entity will decline continue to bore, the very reliable older usefully roomy practical boxy Wagon-R version is sorely missed by its ex- Vauxhall buyers, nobody will touch a Korean Opel Spark they remember what a crap Chevy it was with poor build quality, when new SSssame CorsaSSss arrives it will lose sales big time to the Vauxhall Viva and others.

Still can't get a decent high profit yield nice fuel efficient RWD for love-or-money out of the huge loss making Opel money pit.

The VW way - Golf if it's not broke, don't try to fix it.

GM way - Corsa its broke in a sales decline, keep it the same.
