Anyway, this may be a good opportunity for GMI members to visit their local Cadillac dealerships and post their own XT6 test drive reviews before the "big names" do.

My sister is almost certainly going to get one to replace her Escalade.

Cadillac is in the business of shifting metal, for maximum ROI. If this sells in respectable numbers, (and it will) then it’s mission accomplished.
GM will likely sell the crap out of them, it'll be interesting to see if Cadillac actually starts taking share with all these CUV additions.

Yes, I agree with you there will many people that the XT-6 will tick all of the boxes for/of and just because the masses do still doesn't mean it's a great product.

Then again I guess in the selling autos for a living it does.....
The problem with your comment is that you are turning your opinion into fact. You do not like it, therefore it is impossible for anyone else to like it and the only logical conclusion is that anyone who does like it HAS to be a GMfanboi, meaning someone who is a mindless follower that will accept anything.

Thank you, that's true. But it would still be nice for a GMI member to post an XT6 test drive review, perhaps even a video review like the boys from Lexington, Kentucky, now that the model is available at Cadillac dealerships.

XT6 uses a different version of the GM Powertrain parts bin 3.6L V6 (LGX) compared to Traverse/Enclave (LSY), but to your point, I doubt it makes much of a difference in the overall driving experience. Maybe a GMI member who owns a Traverse or Enclave can drive their vehicle back to back with an XT6 to confirm.

The similarity is uncanny? . Edit: Which is why so many ill informed that don't pay so much attention to things say that they all look alike

In that video, the red metallic XT6 looks stunning. Mr Buttons may not like it, but XT6 will totally turn people’s heads, and that will lead people to the showroom.

What do you care anyway? Being legally blind you are prohibited from driving.

BTW. I didn’t realize GMI was available in Braille form, or do you have someone read the text to you, and describe the pictures?

They’re doing wonderful things with advancements in corrective surgery for the sight impaired, so if you are young enough, within your lifetime you might actually regain full ocular capabilities. At the very least, you might be able to distinguish between two disparate vehicles.

Watched the video finally, About the only thing that jumps out for me is the front turn signal. Nice job. Also am happy with the new grille across the entire line. Just did not care for the horizontal line grille they used before.

    Re: XT6 full review/drive, pricing

I like it for what it is
I have little interest in FWD CUV "mom-mobiles"but have to say it LOOKS to be GM brought "A" game with this
feature set is good and other then a passing similarity to a Journey - if you are 1/2 blind I think the whole thing is well executed

IMHO 3 things jump out at me
    #1 NEEDS A HYBRID VERSION
#2 the driving "aids" should be standard as this is a pricey critter
#3 the volume knob is in a weird location / looks like an afterthought

as for the Lincoln as competition
I do believe C&D + "friends" will drool over the twin turbo Lincoln BUT IMHO the Hybrid is likely the ONLY "ace" up Lincolns sleeve for "real buyers"
