The Bentayga is disappointing to me. Get up close, sit inside, you'll agree with me.

But Range Rover would be nice to emulate.

Not only that, but a Range Rover Sport alternative would and should be a gold mine for Cadillac as an version of the Escalade. To me, and many, the Range Rover strategy is brilliant.. essentially pulling two vehicles out of one.

...brilliant is capitalizing on Range Rover as a brand and pulling FOUR vehicles out of it.

I have and I disagree. It just needs to catch up with Bentleys latest interiors that are far more high tech and spilling into their car lineup redesigns.

I will say the ride doesn't feel as special as it's cars do but that part has an obvious answer why.

Everyone speaks with their camera phone theses days. It's impossible to be in traffic in a Bentayga without cellphones aimed at you. I think the number of those disappointed or not impressed could be counted on two hands.

Guess I'll have to defend Gregory. He set a benchmark here that no one else even attempted to attain. Besides that, it looks like the Lincoln is behind the Cadillac in the photos. Clearly a suggestion of what the Navigator could kiss. Bring Back Greg! He was always watchful and vigilant!

    Gregory

Pronunciation of Gregory ▼ as a boys' name is pronounced GREG-er-ee. It is of Latin and Greek origin, and the meaning of Gregory is "watchful, vigilant".

All kidding aside, I did indeed enjoy his posts. If he wasn't joking then he was the ultimate GM apologist and that's a rare thing around here.

It sounded pretty good until I actually said it.

    Nice try.

Automakers buy examples of their competitors vehicles for testing, evaluation and study ALL OF THE TIME. Ford owns at least one Escalade. Mercedes probably owns at least one of each Audi, and likely a CTS too.

    SMH....

The Other Luxury Brands dont offer Large BOF SUVs to "Evaluate". Cadillac could care less about the German dealing with the Escalade, Caddy know its main target is the Navi so they ARE benchmarking that...

He was making a post in jest to all of the mouth breathers that keep promoting false realities to make themselves feel better.

I wouldn't sound the alarm yet. It is a mule so the body is probably a hacked up current one and the suspension could be in varying degrees of being tested. All of which can make for strange looking proportions.

They focus on the Escalade. Who is to say it was not brought along as a benchmark against the Denali Yukon?

hahaahahahahahahha , I saw your post earlier.. I knew whom you were referring to, those were the days Lincoln was putting out MKZ and putting pilot cups on an AWD version and claiming its aimed at the mighty CTS.

Things are changing at Lincoln, thankfully.

    Man, sometimes take things lightly..
