The Bentley is IMO a horrible looking SUV, but the interior material quality and overall look is obviously impressive. The 2021 Escalade dash and console, are also impressive from a visual standpoint, and hopefully the quality is right up there with the very best.

I suppose It's not inconceivable, that an Escalade with Supercruise, 600HP + and every bell and whistle, could compare favorably with the Bentley but for less (a little less) money.

Damnit man, don’t you understand anything? The Navigator is clearly there to haul around all of the Rolls Royce and Bentley interior components that they are benchmarking. Duh.

Possibly suspension camouflage...there's a cage around the rear diff that connects to all that stuff that's hanging below the rear end. They could be trying to hide the geometry.

But I've been assured by some prominent GMI members that the Lincoln brand doesn't "compete" with Cadillac; Lincoln competes with Buick. Why would Cadillac benchmark a low-end product from Lincoln?

Our whole subdivision is this way. All the houses are on crawl spaces so they had to build up the house site. When they did that they left the street about 5 ft below the house. All the driveways suck. With my GTO I always had to back in and leaving was a huge PITA and this was before I had coilovers.

Bentley's interior is not impressive. Great materials, but thats about it. Its architecture inside is dated as *uck... Cadillac's futuristic and original interior will outclass it.

I was just feeling frosty. My dad’s house is the same way for a similar reason. You can’t pull a current gen Mustang what into his drive without scraping the chin no matter what you do.

People buy those Bentley's for the badge, but the badge isn't worth squat without those insane high quality interiors. You're right Cadillac will have a far more modern looking interior, but I don't know what that is supposed to mean given Bentley isn't remotely about being futuristic. Bentley is ornate by design, it's a totally different design aethstetic.

Cadillac will no more challenge Bentley, or RR for that matter, than Lincoln will.... not in our lifetimes.

Why? Cadillac has that sleek A&S look, it should sit down on it's wheels. Of course they could copy Lincoln and go with the adjustable air suspension!

Navigator and Escalade are a genre of 2 vehicles, although I realize people like to compare them to other things. And remember, Navigator started this and Escalade was the response.

Very old, but with one or two that might be recent. One of the close up pictures is clearly a staged ‘photo opportunity’ as it’s called in the automotive parlance.

Yeah, this isn’t staged at all!!
