So no power bump in the V, huh? Oh, well!

I guess Rainsense is back from the dead, too.

Re: Meet Your 2012 Cadillac Lineup

I want to know what this is:

(TL1) Sport grille. Included and only available in (WBL) CTS Touring Package.

    Maybe a V-series grille for a non-V?

    XTS is a 2013 MY.

DTS and STS should be dead.

Wow 2012 is going to be a thin year for the wreath and crest.

We have 3 versions of one car
We have 3 versions of one truck and
We have the Soccer mom mobile that is going into its 3 year...

It will be interesting to see if Cadillac has the cojones to actually break out the CTS sales like they are three different cars. This press release looks like they might... If that is the case, it will be the end of the Wagon.

    Not for long.

The XTS will be out soon after the first of the year. The STS and DTS don't sell anyway and you're on record as loathing both of them. I'd have thought you'd be glad to see them dropped. What ever inventory of the two that there is around the country will likely last through the end of this year, maybe longer depending on when production actually stops and that hasn't happened yet.

And if I remember correctly, Mr. Ruess mentioned in a recent interview that there would be a "surprise" for Cadillac in the last half of this year.

    All is not darkness.

Now, why would anyone here notice an improvement?

Has a SOP date been extablished for 2012 CTS???

Agreed !!!! The XTS should have debuted this year (Summer) to replace the STS and DTS with the 318 hp 3.6 DI engine. Then when the V6 Turbo, Hybrid etc is available add that as a feature.

The XTS is coming really quickly considering it was a show car just last year. I think it's been moved up a couple of times. They're moving real fast on this one.

So if you want a Y43 car you have to get the "Sport" package. Hope that means they have deleted those ugly *** clear taillight lenses that are on the '11 Sport.
