Do those friends and colleagues listen to Your theories about domestic cars and consider buying let's say a CTS-V or CT6-V? Or they are prejudiced or even mentally ill (like that whole C&D import-loving crowd)?

    Pfft... those are common.
Want exclusive? Mint condition survivor Merkur XR4ti. There are like a dozen in existence.
Big bucks, brother... like almost $10K!

Not as exclusive as a 1978 Dodge Omni, though.

They are as opinionated as me. But they aren't Magnum PI or Sonny Crockett riding around daily in Ferraris lol.. The guy that owns the F12 drives an current Gen Escalade and his wife has Lexus RX. The Lambo guy has a Hummer H2 and Sierra.

Truth!!! My best friend back in Middle School's Dad had one of those. Man that thing was unique.. but a POS when it came to reliability. I thought it was cool because of the spoiler in the rear being placed so weird. I literally only remember seeing his, and a one other one.. a white one on U.S. streets my whole life. When I got to Europe in the 90s I saw another two. Might have been the sames ones LOL

Broke a lot and couldn't get parts... that's why there aren't any!
In a week and a half I'll see one every day. That's when mine gets out of storage.

My 85 year old mom has a 31K mile 2008 Sunset Blue CTS.
Only year for that color in the Gen 2... zero option RWD base car, it's pretty unique.
KBB / Edmunds say it's a less than $10K car. I'd love to inherit it, but I ain't counting on it.
She's very healthy and will probably outlive me.

That wife needs to trade that sub par RX for a far superior XT5

Tell her thruth - that almost nobody in Germany ever touches Lexus (and nobody Infiniti) and everybody supports their national brands (even those whose previous German cars were lemons - they just skip from one German brand to another). I wonder what will her answer be.

Pre-order exclusivity??? Where was it ever indicated that only 275 units would be built? I believe the 275 number was just the pre-order cap.

Okay....let me explain it to you again......the CT6 V will not have Super Cruise ($5000), standard on the CT6 Platinum, and it will not come with Panaray ($3600), standard on the CT6 Platinum, and it will not have semi-aniline leather seats, a Platinum only interior offering........

Here's the question.. Will the V come with options if the Platinum for a price? I personally want a V with everything I can get in a platinum. And I'm willing to pay for it too. Screw this. Cadillac costs! It's indicative of the brand
