I can't even see how I'd hide my screen to other motorists while I'm watching "adult relationship videos" while on autopilot in a Model 3.

Not that I should be ashamed since just about everyone on the planet has to "practice making" children.......

IMO whatever size that is in the video looks to be a perfect size. If it’s 8” fine, but perhaps it is 9.5” diagonally?

Looking at the sub standard fit and finish, I’d be more ashamed about driving a Model 3 ‘practice making’ mass production car.

I think you have to engage ‘Hysterical mode’?

Truly looking forward to this high-lux Escalade interior. I'm on the edge of my seat, waiting with bated breath.

I’m not a fan of the tacked on iPad approach to Sat/Nav screens, but in one of the other ASMR videos, (at least in profile) the CT5 screen seems to be pleasantly chunky and substantial.

In the video link above, the black part on the top of the door looks like it has a nice grain to it, and the finish on the speaker grille seems to be a nice contrast to some of the more ‘Blingy’ German interiors. I have a hunch the materials used will be at least as good as the competition.

Look at the first spy pic, folks. That screen is definitely bigger than XT4's SAT/NAV, no doubt about it. 9,5 - 10 for sure.

Yes the screen looks bigger than XT4, at least taller, to me. Maybe that’s why they moved the air vents under the screen. But to me the screen looks bigger in the spyshot than in the release photo (post 501 above)! So I’m not sure. We should know for sure at NYAS...

I’m hoping for “mechanical” speed/tach gauges, as shown in the spy shot, fine all-digital in a package if you like. Too many reports of problems with LCDs in cars.

Looks the same size in the spy shot as in the ASMR video imo. XT4 has the same shape but this looks bigger. Perhaps CT4 will get the XT4 sized screen, but I hope it gets this one. As it is also Alpha 2.0 you’d think it would get the same as the CT5. We’ll know for sure on the screen size in less than 9 days.

Btw. You make a good point about lowering the air vents relative to how CTS has them. That might be why they put the Sat/Nav screen up high, and also a need to make room for two banks of switches?

Coincidentally, I was looking at XT6 interior photos yesterday, and realized that the gauge package with the LCD screen in between actually looks pretty decent.

Nope...the gauge cluster has to be full LCD, the segment pretty much demands it.

Anyway, I may have been wrong about the corporate screen as it appears to be larger...maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised in 8 days

Yeah, it has to be full LCD. And it will be as an option I guess. Hope it will be available from the start.

Anyway, this car looks great. I can't wait for the V

This version does not have full LCD. If you look carefully you'll see "mechanical" gauges around the screen.

They better bring full LCD. This is a MUST.
