I’m not a fan of the tacked on iPad approach to Sat/Nav screens, but in one of the other ASMR videos, (at least in profile) the CT5 screen seems to be pleasantly chunky and substantial.
In the video link above, the black part on the top of the door looks like it has a nice grain to it, and the finish on the speaker grille seems to be a nice contrast to some of the more ‘Blingy’ German interiors. I have a hunch the materials used will be at least as good as the competition.
I’m hoping for “mechanical” speed/tach gauges, as shown in the spy shot, fine all-digital in a package if you like. Too many reports of problems with LCDs in cars.

Current ride: 2015 Chevy Sonic 1.8L 5sp manual sedan
Previous ride: 1998 Subaru Legacy Wagon AWD 2.2L 5sp manual
Next ride, pre-pandemic: Maybe a 2020 2.0T CT4, weekend car, keep the Sonic as DD
Next ride, post-pandemic: Keep driving the Sonic!
Btw. You make a good point about lowering the air vents relative to how CTS has them. That might be why they put the Sat/Nav screen up high, and also a need to make room for two banks of switches?

This version does not have full LCD. If you look carefully you'll see "mechanical" gauges around the screen.
They better bring full LCD. This is a MUST.
