Cadillac Lyriq EV Reveal - August 6th at 7pm EST

Our Future is Electric: Cadillac Keeps Pushing the Boundaries of Innovation
    Cadillac
    June 25, 2020

Building on more than a century of innovation, the Cadillac LYRIQ marks the beginning of a new chapter for the brand – one that is all-electric and redefines the boundaries and limits of mobility and connectivity. Today, Cadillac is laying the groundwork for this brighter future by rethinking the interaction between the driver and the vehicle. This is evident in the all-new Escalade with impressive technologies like the first curved OLED in the industry, the industry’s first AKG studio reference system and Super Cruise.

Join Cadillac on Thursday, August 6, 2020 at 7 p.m. ET for the virtual debut of the Cadillac LYRIQ show car and introduction of the next chapter for the brand. We will go behind the scenes and hear from the extraordinary team making Cadillac’s vision a reality.

As we look ahead to this momentous reveal, take a moment and view the above video, which celebrates Cadillac’s spirit of innovation and hope for the future.

Looks like it is going to be stunning!

There are vehicles in that video, but plenty of nice teases of the vehicle. Looks like it is going to be legit special.

Looks like the faux grill will be completely illuminated. After looking at that video, I really get the feeling that this will be the no-compromise luxury vehicle we’ve been waiting for.

Looks insane inside and out. Hope they will keep all its beautiful details for the production model.

Looks more like a tall wagon than a crossover, but that’s for the better anyway.

They won't. But a few will come through. Maybe, just maybe, they'll understand that this car needs to make a massive splash and think of the cost of a few dazzling additions to be an investment in the future.

Looks like it's aimed dead at the Lexus RX400 (or whatever number it gets these days). Mid-size crossover. Dead center of the market.

It looks interesting, though the window size does look like 1992

Concept cars are cool and all but Cadillac needs to build something radical to shake the market a little bit. I am hoping this will be it.

Wow, those details and lighting look amazing! I can't wait to see it! Hopefully this is one of those show cars that is basically the production version.

However, when seeing the shadowy profile picture I worry that the D pillar area will be controversial, like the CT5 C pillar kink (that turned out to be a nothing-burger once seen in real life).

Hope it’s got a fake grill, cars like Mach-E and Tesla Model 3 are ugly without grills.
