    It looks like a piece of dark tinted glass to me with the fixed window in front of it slightly lighter.
    It produces a back to front tint gradient that is not unattractive.

    I've seen a bunch of high res pics now and this is a good looking car.
    Now it's a question of whether they price it appropriately. GM is very good at not doing that.

    The other question is... how big is this car?
    The CT4 has been confirmed to slot beneath it.

    I saw a new 3 series today, and it is hard to fathom how it supposedly has a much bigger trunk than the CT5. Also perhaps trunk space is why CT5 is classified as a compact. Trunk space is I believe one of the metrics (along with interior volume) used by the EPA to determine what size classification a vehicle belongs in.

    It has a little longer wheelbase than CTS, but the 2 inches added width are all outside of the passenger shell. This was also done with the 2nd gen CTS versus the first.

    CT4 looks to have ATS's greenhouse--and thus wheelbase, so length & width should be close to it, too.

    If it's close to ATS size, that would be excellent.
    ATS:
    W = 71.1 in
    L = 182.8 in

    I'm already pretty sure this would work...

    Alfa Giulia:
    W = 73.7 in
    L = 182.6 in

    The difference? The Giulia has power folding mirrors and the ATS doesn't.
    I don't like mirrors taking up valuable side to side space. Power folding mirrors let a wider car fit.
    The wife's much larger XTS actually fits in the garage better than her Cruze did because of this one feature.

    So, no power folding mirrors would be a deal killer.
    I'll be shocked if CT4 doesn't have them. All of the recent Cadillacs do.

    Width measurements don't usually include mirrors.

    I wondered why people wanted folding mirrors. Garages never occurred to me. In the 80s, we had a 2 car garage but never got more than 1 in it (and that not but a few months). Too much stuff.

    Because the mirrors power fold, the Giulia is in reality narrower than the ATS.
    I was surprised at how much difference it made.

    When you're rolling out the trash can between the cars, it's nice not to have a stupid mirror in the way.
