Cadillac CT5-V Has Slightly More Power Than Originally Announced?

When the car debuted, output for the CT5-V and its twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 was specifically described as being a “Cadillac-estimated” number, pending SAE certification. It now appears the final numbers from the Society of Automotive Engineers are in and they’re higher than the original estimate, according to a new report published by Cadillac Society. Before you get too excited, they’re 5 hp and 5 lb-ft higher than initially thought, thus bringing the grand total to 360 hp and 405 lb-ft (550 Nm)."

This is going the best buy of the whole line for most. 405 lb-ft of bump at that rpm is going to send this beauty flying. Truly the best looking in its class imo

Definitely in the right direction. But, GM needs some SUV-Vs. It could be that all the effort is going into SUV-Es at the moment.
    2005 CTS-V, LS6, supercharged, L-T headers, etc SOLD !!!
2011 Cruze ECO, 1.4T, 6-spd manual. (my DD) SOLD !!!

That would be no surprise, maybe Cadillac is saving it’s bullets for a new era of more exciting SUVs

The c-pillar brings it down a few pegs...

Front, great, one of the best
    Rear, good, better than most
    Side profile... terrible.

Hopefully they can put some DCT on these cars. That corvette is not going to be able to pay for DCT. Too bad the Camaro team was disbanded..

    Sorry. That's not a V. It's short about 100HP.

According to the GM Supplier build and price tool, 2020 CT5-V with cold weather package and Ultraview moonroof lists for $50,740. That's a very competitive price for a V6 powered compact executive sedan, and over $4,000 less than a 2020 BMW M340i.

This is the key to having some sustained sale numbers

Just wish they would've called it a VSport and not a V....there was NO need to reshuffle the performance trims at Cadillac.

I see Austin Powers doing air quotes every time this gets said.
