All of the recent Cadillacs have the the things I'd like. I'm confident it'll be a fine car.

Actually, just shrink a CT5 and I'm good. And please, no boy-racer A-Class crap. Stay classy, Cadillac.
Here is the "boy-racer A Class" you are talking about.

That's about as inoffensive as you can get. You're thinking of the CLA, the 4 door Coupe version of the A Class.

So by the time most people will have this news on the computer screen to review, it'll be Friday morning (I certainly am not going to take time out of my evening to check it out). Doesn't seem too bright, few people care about much news Friday and are already anxious for their weekend. There's a reason why in politics, all the bad news and press releases seem to happen on Fridays... easy to get swept under the rug.

All of them boring. Why do we keep having to see ugly compact mercedes images? Seriously.. Its about as luxury looking as a Corolla. I hate Corollas... I hate Toyota.. but I think I'd rather be seen driving one of them than that Low rent wanna be of a Mercedes.

Context means nothing right? He's not asking if you're impressed...he's letting you know that the A class sedan isn't as boy racer as you mentioned

You both miss the point of the A Class.

Just because it's the "least expensive" Mercedes-Benz doesn't mean it has to look, act, or feel like the "cheapest" Mercedes-Benz.

When you sit in an A Class, you get the impression that you are in the "smallest" Mercedes-Benz, NOT the "cheapest", which is a key factor as to why that car is so good. It's FWD, it's inexpensive, whatever, but it's a damn good car. It's an attractive package, and most importantly, feels like a Mercedes-Benz going down the road. That vault-like ride quality is there, the beautiful interior design is there, and the build quality is there.

Cheapest ≠ Smallest, and you calling it a Corolla is about as far away from the truth as can be, and just shows how out of touch you are with the luxury car market, and what a brand's goals are when bringing an entry level sedan to market.

Just wait until you see the 2013 AT... errrr I mean 2020 CT4...

He’s talking about the A class full on AMG hatch. With the upgraded exhaust from the factory can sound like a modded Honda easily. Someone owns one in my neighborhood.

Interesting. How does that person own a car that is not for sale yet, let alone even revealed?

The NG A45 AMG is being revealed in September, is going to likely have a 400+ HP engine and hit 60 in under 4 seconds.

But go on folks, keep bashing MB.

OMG... that is way too close for comfort. Choose this, not that:

Oh, I totally get their goal.
It's to cynically sell cheap FWD cars to posers at outrageous prices and profit handsomely off of suckers that don't know any better.
If I owned that CLS and some goof tried to tell me how great and "real" that A-Class was, I'd laugh at em.
I owned a C-Class and there is no way I'd go any lower... up is the only direction from there.

Here's what Consumer Reports says about the CLA:

    Road Test
You can feel the desire when Janis Joplin pleads, "Oh, Lord, won't you buy me a Mer-ce-des-BENZ?" But if the Mercedes had been the entry-level CLA, she might have reconsidered. The CLA looks like the real thing, with the proud three-pointed star on the grille and the sexy styling of the posh and costly CLS. But that's where the resemblance ends. Once you're behind the wheel, the CLA just doesn't deliver the driving experience that its image leads you to expect.

Rather than a comfortable, quiet, and sporty rear-wheel-drive sedan, the CLA is a cramped, noisy, front-wheel-drive compact with a stiff ride, impaired visibility, and exceptionally difficult access. It also lacks the handling finesse and refinement we expect at this price.

It’s the GLA 45 AMG with the wing to be exactly. We all know the new recently debuted model will only arrive here as a sedan.
