A heavily camouflaged Cadillac sedan has been spotted prowling suburban Victoria, reigniting fervour among local fans keen for a long-rumoured Australian launch.

While it is impossible to confirm, what with the thick layering of camouflaged wrapping, our keen-eyed spotter was convinced the car in question was the 2020 CT5 (the first time one has been spotted in Australia), which was parked outside the Woolworths supermarket in Vermont, Victoria.

Pretty good shot - you can really see the lines in the hood and the side. Definitely larger than the ATS. Trunk looks more CTS.

Looks like a CT6 to me, but who knows.

Seems to me like GM is the only manufacturer committed to keeping high paying automotive jobs in Australia. There is still automotive development going on there even for a product like this that has always happened in North America and Europe.
Hopefully its a sign that right hand drive Cadillac's are on the way.

Looks like a CT6 to me as well. I hope so because the spy shot we saw a couple months ago of the supposed CT5 looked like a smaller Escala with fake Charger vents and scoops tacked on... If this is it I will be disappointed.

The CT5 rearmost side glass was on the rear door VS affixed to the pillar like here. That is clearly the silhouette of an updated CT6. Why in camo when we’ve seen the update already who knows.

I wondered where they were hiding all those new Caddy's; I've not seen the sedans here, just the CUV's.

Final programming in the still open engineering facility in Australia, I see, as was described here last year.

Lol. Both remaining Holden engineers still have a job? Yay, who knew full car design and manufacturing and exhaust metric collecting are equivalent.

I wouldn't even assume they are even working exclusively on GM vehicles.

This is what I call undirected anger comment posted by someone that does not engage their brains before they post.. done with you bro if you cannot keep insults out of your posts. When your country can take responsibility for your loss of manufacturing, perhaps you can begin to heal as a manufacturing country.

GM still maintains its Lang Lang Proving Ground. I do not believe there is only two people working there.

And these are not assembly line workers. Those jobs left for China, Korea and Thailand
