When Cadillac has tried the burnt orange before, it hasn't lasted. That was a featured color of the original 2003 CTS. Lasted one year. It was promoted quite a bit with the XT4; I wonder what the the take rate is on that.
XT4 does look good in the burnt orange. I see quite a few, but this is the home of the University of Texas. So this area may not be very indicative of the country as a whole.

I'm not a Longhorn fan, but that is one of my favorite car colors. I bought a CTS in 2004, but it was after that color was no longer offered. I missed the boat on that color a couple of times, but did have a 2014 Cherokee in "mango tango pearlcoat." Embarrassing name but awesome color.

In the past, I've had a 5th gen Camaro, a CTS sedan and coupe, two 3rd gen Firebird Formulas, a convertible 4th gen Trans Am, a Reatta, a couple of Monte Carlos, an Avenger coupe, a couple of Cavalier hatchbacks, a Saturn SC1, and a Cherokee.

Hilarious name. Sometimes the names on these colors are just head scratchers. Mango Tango? Mango would have been enough.

One of my XT4s is in Autumn Metallic (AKA burnt orange or copper). It looks good in that color especially as with the black chrome grill.
