Flogging a dead horse here, but an ATS coupe with a new front and rear, and the new interior is a cheap way to keep a Coupe in the line up. Coupe sales are probably shrinking even faster than sedans, so the numbers probably don’t add up for an all new CT4 coupe.
Is the Alpha chassis still peerless though? The Jaguar XE and Alfa Romeo Giulia always get similarly glowing reviews form a ride/handling standpoint. I don't think those cars have better chassis necessarily, just not sure we can say the ATS is the best bar none.
I forget that the XE exists.
Only about 30 days until the CT4 OR CT5 is revealed. Perhaps Cadillac will announce something soon.

It's possible the CT5 will be unveiled/leaked in China before here. I still think the 4 will be produced before the 5 in the US, but the reverse in China.
I saw my first XT4 in the wild today. I'd looked at several youtube reviews of it the day before, so I almost missed it. It's attractive, but with all the different and often outlandish vehicle designs out now, it doesn't stand out much.
