For you of course GM is always dead last

IMHO this is the BIGGEST "failure" of GM and FORD is the BRANDS do NOT cosevely represent something and STICK with it
also Toyota and FCA "mopar" brands are good at staying "on point"

Like I said.. great marketing.. ugly and often unreliable product.

Subaru has great marketing and all, generally nice cars, but they are not my cup of tea. I think their interior technology is ancient compared to the ones we see around other brands.

I bought GM cars exclusively for 20 years - with no regrets on any of them.

I just don't think that Epsilon or its derivatives are a suitable basis for a global premium model

That's ok, if it's your money, by all means, you should spend it on the best product as you perceive

I didn't even bother watching that video because it sounds like a ridiculous comparison.

Agreed...didn't watch it either, so I'm assuming that this is a hit piece meant to trash the XT4 while simultaneously fluffing the CX-5 for its handling and the Subaru for its ride quality. Close?

I won't use the word "insufferable" because people who use that word tend to be annoying..
.. but I will agree with it nonetheless..

Seriously.. what is appealing about this.. when it is normally below the industry avg of reliability charts, and AWD is available on every CUV known to man?

It damn sure isn't because they have a buncha of sexy women rolling around in them.. do a search in Google for "subaru forester driver" and the first pic that might pop up will tell U..

It's about reputation and brand image - their reliability was high and they were dynamically in a different class.

I would go and say this type of opinion is WHY SUBBY drivers are so "insufferable" they value *"better" / more "enlightened"* reasons and are NOT chasing skirts in MOM approved cars

    * MUST do air quotes with your fingers while reading this (-:

subbiests are like PRIUS pilots and INSIST "our choice was WRONG AND WE MUST save the whales / children in africa by accepting their "truth"
