    Alex on Autos - 2019 Cadillac XT4 | Cadillac Takes On The X1




    In addition to comparing the XT4 to the likes of the X1 (instead of the X3), Alex also compares it to the Lexus UX.

    Not quite sure why he did that when the XT4 is within an inch of the length of the NX (which often gets compared to the X1, etc.) and has a longer WB.

    But guess that's what happens when you base your CUVs on FWD/transverse platforms.

    Very detailed review. Too bad about the all-black interior.

    It's difficult to figure how to segregate all these entries, by base price (which no one buys), by comparable mainstream options price, by overall length, by rear cabin size. Sounded like there were big differences in rear legroom, which would be a deciding factor for many buyers.

    I wish someone would review and compare a mid-level FWD (say, no option PL) version instead of the $57k AWD. I wouldn't want all that glass over my head, which I imagine adds weight and increases noise and flexing.

    How many times did he say the BMWs are now FWD-based?
