I have a feeling that the market wll be far less harsh on the XT6,
It's got a Cadillac badge and probably fills the need below Escalade
for those buyers who are actually interested.
Don't forget the title, taxes, and fees.

Quoting the article:
“The same option packages are available as on the Premium Luxury trim, and when we added the Platinum package along with a few stand-alone options such as the $2000 Night Vision system, we reached a fully loaded price of $73,740.”
So Platinum is a package not a trim level??
Deducting the $2000 Night Vision system plus call it $1740 for a couple more “stand-alone options” gets you to $70K for the Platinum ($73,740-2000-1740=$70K). I estimated $64K a while back...guess I was off by around 6K...ouch!...but I’d really like to see the Configurator! Anyone know when it will be available? It’s not at Cadillac.com as of now...
Current ride: 2015 Chevy Sonic 1.8L 5sp manual sedan
Previous ride: 1998 Subaru Legacy Wagon AWD 2.2L 5sp manual
Next ride, pre-pandemic: Maybe a 2020 2.0T CT4, weekend car, keep the Sonic as DD
Next ride, post-pandemic: Keep driving the Sonic!
All I can say is "In what universe does that pricing work for this uninspiring half assed effort"?" Makes Acadia Denali look like a flaming bargain.
Platinum Package is an option for all three trims. Contents are:

So should the XT6 be priced equally or less than the XT5?
Put Super Cruise on the trucks, something Ford and RAM don’t have.
So a fully loaded XT6 Sport with Platinum package is about the same as the fully loaded XT5 Platinum...but...but...but...how is that possible?!! it has six or 7 seats, is longer and wider. Who cares. If it had TTV6 with Supercruise for $80K, (as an all in package. only option would be Exterior/Interior color) it would be reasonably priced imo. If people think it is too expensive they won't buy it. End of Story.
