I DESPISE the stuck on displays, especially in the Tesla M3. If it's not somewhat integrated within the dash I will not purchase.

First off, its not an expensive Traverse. It rights on a shorter and wider track and is engineered to deliver the driving experience once expects of a Cadillac.
Cadillac has higher brand recognition than Lincoln, Lincoln has to earn the right to Charge Cadilac prices. Buick Enclave Avernier is really Lincolns competition.
At least wait for the drive before you yell the world is ending. Its not. Cadillac made its RWD SRX, drove like a dream and got Cadillac nowhere.
(There may not be a FWD Platinum, just trying to estimate.)
The lowest XT5 price is two trims down from the Premium Luxury so it's quite a bit cheaper. It's interesting that, apples-to-apples, the XT5 Premium Luxury and XT6 Premium Luxury are just about the same price.

Previous ride: 1998 Subaru Legacy Wagon AWD 2.2L 5sp manual
Next ride: Maybe a 2020 2.0T CT4, weekend car, keep the Sonic as DD
I’m personally not worried about the list price because since GM didn’t spent much to create this model the lease prices can be as aggressive as they want them to be.

Extreme over-criticism here, and for a vehicle nobody's driven. I think it looks classy and is priced right, thus will sell well. And importantly, it's much cheaper than the Escalade, while probably having more usable passenger space.
And how did GMI suddenly become a bunch of Lincoln fanboys?
GM's approach with Cadillac crossovers seems to be charging luxury vehicle prices for decidedly quotidian driving dynamics, relying on the brand's heritage and the popularity of crossovers to sustain short term sales growth.
