    Pre-ordered!

Have to admit I was thinking high $40's. Should be some "big discounts" soon after launch.

There has already been a preliminary comparison to Aviator. Can't recall the mag. Aviator wins hands down in virtually every category. XT6 a VERY distant second. Can it possibly get more delusional at Cadillac HQ?
(I really don't want to hear the answer to that). Just damn sad.

LOL. Can't wait for the "defend Cadillac at all costs" crew to chime in. This is ridiculous.

If not for the restraints of math the XT6 would come in third in a comparison of the two.

The problem is not the price. $53-$55k is exactly what a 3-row luxury CUV should base at. The problem is the vehicle.

Meh. The Lexus RX L, Infiniti QX60, Acura MDX, Volvo XC90 all come in under $50k. The Audi Q7 starts at $53k, and at that point the vehicle should be looking more like the Aviator and less like the XT6.

It's all about perceived value. If the XT6 is underwhelming then the price needs to lower to entice buyers. That Cadillac thinks this vehicle is worthy of that price is, baffling.

The front clip is to my eyes the best part of the exterior. In fact I really like it, but in profile and from the rear, not so much.

Easy to defend. Its has a lot of standard features out the gate. Car and driver said the back seat has plenty of room, so everyone's wheel base argument goes out the windows. So yea you guys don't like it. I don't like the look of the Aviator. Its weird looking. I bet in person this thing is sharp. Unfortunately you can only do so much with a people hauler. Again its a CUV not a car.

The number one reason I can't stand the Lincoln or its platform mate is the stupid screen in the middle of dash blocking your view. That is so dumb and yes other car manufactures that are doing is dumb also. I have friend him and him wife have no loyalty to any car maker but will never buy one with that screen stuck in the middle of dash.

Obviously you haven't driven any of the cars with the dash top display. It's not in the way of anything...like at all

It is if you're under 5 ft tall.

I don't like them because they look fragile.

I'm not a fan of them because they look like an afterthought. Of course being an old guy I'm fully in line with Mazda in thinking they don't belong in cars. We've spent decades working on ergonomics such that a person could operate almost any function in a vehicle without having to take their eyes off the road. In a few short years all of that was abandoned for tech that by design, distracts drivers.
