They even have different serial numbers! Factory outlets are there to offload either off season products that didn't sell, products that didn't meet quality standards or are specifically made for the outlet.
Well, you just explained yourself how genuine products do end up at outlet stores -- unsold inventory and out of season items.

With bags it's not as easy to tell what's genuine and what isn't unless you know what specifics to look for. With shirts and pants I can usually feel the difference right away.

As for the Coach brand, they sold out decades ago. A completely whored out worthless brand, like Michael Kors.

If you're willing to deal with long checkout lines Burlington has lots of gems (and lots of junk too). I've also found excellent deals on upper-middle-tier items at Macys Backstage.

    I just saw this.

Did you own a Camaro? Drive it daily? No, it's not a competent car for more than a ONE person household and maybe a childless couple. I don't need to rehash all the failures of the car because they are so widely known.

Plus, you damn well I meant a sedan. None of the bull crap epsilon ver 92. Hahah

Reality is no ponycar is good for a family with children. Can you make do? Sure. But there are WAY better options. Camaro might be a little worse than the others in that regard but it's just a matter of degrees.

A successful muscle car does not have the same criteria for success as a sedan.

That's like criticizing the Cruze because it cant tow a horse trailer.

So your definition of a "competent" car is a roomy interior? Congratulations Subaru. You're vehicles are competent.

No. I damn well didn't. If you're definition of "competent" is sedan with roomy interior why didn't you damn well say sedan with roomy interior?

Ding ding ding... we have a winner!!
My wife buys "out of season" purses at the Dooney and Bourke outlet and gets them for less than half price.

This spring she bought a dark green all leather purse and wallet.
They'll look very nice in the fall. She puts them away for a few months and voila!
It's just as good as the one someone just paid full price for at the department store.
The only thing "second" about them is that they weren't sold in season.

I refuse to pay full price because there are deals on everything... luxury purse, luxury car, whatever.

Impressively aggressive pricing strategy, though I'm not sure on the exact details of SIZE, so it may not be all that aggressive—but it leaves a conspicuously large price gap between CT5 and CT6.

Hmmm so the Camaro has been so successful that they're considering cutting the car again and it's in last place in its class. Yea! That's compelling and competent.

Seriously, we've had a few Camaro owners on here and we've all described the insane shortcomings in the car and you guys STILL defend the damn thing. It's hilarious at this point.

GM can give Cadillac a discount alpha sedan and destroy the brand even more but can't give its biggest brand ONE proper sedan? They think that the CT5 and CT4 are going to sell more at a cheaper price at Cadillac but won't sell just as good at Chevy??

I agree that it's a flawed car and a "Camaro" probably can't be fixed. GM has a new sports car, they don't need two.
So move on and make a larger, softer muscle car that you can see out of.
Offer an AWD version, like Dodge does. They don't all have to be garage queens.

Others suggested "Chevelle"... that is a fine name.

Challenger doesn't even try to compete with Mustang. They do their own thing. GM should do the same.
Ford boy can talk all he wants... I'd respond by asking "Where's their Corvette?" Ford GT is not the answer...

I never said that it was a success! All I say is that it's "competent" to use YOUR word. That's all.

There's a $25,000 gap in base MSRP between CT5 and CT6 that would have been about $12,000 a few months ago—which is in line with the "competition."

If CT5 is competing with the C/3/et al as it's supposedly doing, how exactly has CT6 been positioned for success in its market? Over the last few months it's seen nothing but a slow flaying of the price adjustment and now "Y" trim strategy executed by the former leadership team.

Is CT6 getting its price adjusted yet again? Or more likely, is it being stripped to the bare essentials before cancellation? The back-and-forth waffling on the product is entirely unbecoming of a competent luxury brand, and more than suggests unsurety about the brand's identity and direction.

Where would this price the CT4?
